It was this particular project when I realized how much I truly enjoyed the work that goes into the journalism side of the fashion industry.
Choosing a Niche
My inspiration steamed from my own desires. I wanted to create a magazine that was for true fashion lovers who wanted to read about what was actually being talked about in the industry rather than just having fashion pictorials. Geared towards the age range of 18-30, with the addition of Horoscopes and magazine quizzes for the fun of it.
Content Inspiration
Through websites such as WGSN and WWD, I gathered my source material for my fashion drama article featuring Balenciaga's recent AD scandal, as well as my images for my fashion pictorial showcasing Dior's 2020 Autumn/Winter Haute Couture collection with their film featuring their elegant works of art through fantasy.
